The Center for Clinical Pharmacology employs a team of highly qualified scientists and healthcare professionals some of whom have over 25 years of experience in clinical pharmacology.

History of the center for clinical pharmacology

In 1995 the center for clinical pharmacology was founded by Prof. Dr. Paul De Schepper as a self-supporting academic research organisation located on campus Gasthuisberg.

Research focus and publications of CCP

The focus of the research is on the exploratory phase of clinical drug development

Research facilities at CCP

The facilities are ideally positioned to provide a professional GCP environment to safely conduct trials in the exploratory phase of clinical drug development.

Teaching

The academic staff is appointed by the faculty of medicine of the university of Leuven.
