How can you support us?
Make a donation
The most straightforward way to support UZ Leuven or a specific fund or project is by making a donation.
For amounts up to and including €10,000 this can be done via a standard bank transfer; for higher amounts you’ll sign a prior letter of intent. In both cases, please make sure to contact our donation adviser beforehand.
Is there a project or domain that is particularly close to your company’s heart and for which no dedicated fund or project yet exists? You can choose to support it permanently by setting up your own fund. This fund will bear a name of your choice and requires a starting capital of €25,000. The fund manager will keep you informed of the progress you are helping to achieve.
Establish a chair
Would you or your company like to support an ambitious research project? Do you want to encourage our most talented specialists and their teams and thereby highlight your commitment to knowledge sharing? Then you can establish a teaching chair.
With a donation or sponsorship of €70,000 per year, you can establish a chair. It runs for a minimum of three years.
Organise an event
Are your colleagues or employees enthusiastic about organising a fundraising event in your company? KU Leuven’s Fundraising Office will gladly support you with the organisation and will ensure that all funds raised go to the good cause of your choice.
Together with the colleagues, we’ve organised all kinds of fundraising activities – from climbing the Stelvio and hosting a barbecue to organising a bingo evening and a well-attended company party.
Peter Schepers, production manager at food company Deliva, which raised an impressive amount for diabetes research
“My daughter has diabetes, which is why we decided to support research into this disease. Together with the colleagues, we’ve organised all kinds of fundraising activities – from climbing the Stelvio and hosting a barbecue to organising a bingo evening and a well-attended company party. We’re extremely pleased with the more than €21,000 we raised and can donate to the laboratories where Professor Chantal Mathieu and her team conduct research into type 1 diabetes.”
