What does a day on haemodialysis look like?
Luiz comes to the children’s kidney centre three times a week. Here’s what his day looks like.
- Luiz arrives at the hospital with his mum. Mum has a badge, so we can go straight to the dialysis room. There we check in and are registered.
- If I still have to wait for the nurses, I go and play for a bit at Château Flamingo in the day hospital.
Hooray, we’re going to play!
All princes and princesses to Château Flamingo, the playroom next to reception and the nurses’ station where there’s always something going on.
