This destination is reached via a diversion

  • Upon arrival at toegang Oost, follow the diversion signs to Oranje straat, poort 6 - 7.

  • Are you arriving via toegang West? First, follow the signs to Groene straat, poort 2. From there, follow the diversion signs.

  • The diversion takes approximately 10 minutes.
    Do you have difficulty walking (long distances)? Please feel free to use one of the wheelchairs available at the entrance.

Tests

Adrenaline test

Injection of adrenaline (a stress hormone) and recording of the changes it causes in the heart’s electrical activity (ECG).

Ajmaline test

Injection of ajmaline (a medication with sodium channel-blocking properties) and recording of the changes it causes in the heart’s electrical activity (ECG).

Echocardiography

A safe and painless test used to detect structural abnormalities of the heart. By moving a probe across the chest, the heart is visualised using ultrasound (sound waves).

Stress echocardiography

An exercise test in which a medication that increases heart rate and blood pressure is injected, allowing the doctor to simultaneously assess how the heart contracts.

Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE)

An ultrasound test using a special probe placed on your chest to visualise the heart and the blood circulation within it using ultrasound (sound waves).
