I would like to give you some tips for a smooth start to your internship at UZ Leuven:
- Before the start of each internship, check the latest information on internships on our website.
There you will find the specific offer for you and practical tips for the start of the internship. - Prior to your internship, you will receive some emails from stagebeheer@uzleuven.be. Actively engage with these.
- Check your internship department's introduction brochure on your educational institution's digital learning platform to prepare for your internship.
Do you have any questions?
In case of uncertainties, concerns or questions during your internship, you can always contact your mentor, the supervisor of the department or another department colleague.
Is there something you cannot turn to these people about? Then you can certainly contact me.
What could be better?
UZ Leuven wants to learn from you, I want to learn from you, which is why there are internship experience moments at UZ Leuven. In these, we reflect on students' internship experiences and together look for solutions, for you and for future students. Invitations are distributed via the internship coordination of your own study programme and via your own internship department.
Every year, UZ Leuven looks forward to your educational institution's feedback reports. Those reports are a tool every department can use. So at the end of your internship, carefully fill in the evaluation about your internship department. It gives us an idea of what we do well and where there are opportunities for growth.
