Focus falls behind the retina

Your eye is too short. As a result, light rays converge behind your retina.

Your spectacle lenses therefore have a positive power, for example +3 dioptres (+3 D).

Because your eye is relatively too short, the focus falls behind the retina. As a result, your distance vision is blurred and your near vision is even more blurred.

Symptoms

The main symptom of long-sightedness is blurred distance vision and even more blurred near vision.
