Ring Zuid closed between Toegang Oost and the Emergency Department: how to get there?
Ring Zuid is no longer accessible between Toegang Oost and the Emergency Department.
At the same time, the new bus lane is opened in one direction, from the Het Teken roundabout towards the Emergency Department.
This ensures good accessibility to the Emergency Department from the Het Teken roundabout.
Route from the Het Teken roundabout
- Take the new bus lane from the Het Teken roundabout.
- At the Berg Taborweg junction, make a sharp right turn to enter the Emergency Department.
Route from the E314 (exit 16 Gasthuisberg)
- Take the Vogelzang roundabout and head towards "Zuid".
Signage is in place for both routes.
Traffic situation from 3 June 2025: From the E314, at the Vogelzang roundabout follow direction "Zuid". From the Het Teken roundabout, use the new bus lane to reach the Emergency Department.
Entering the car park
- Follow the green 'Spoed' (ER) signage all the way to the white building.
- Enter the white building.
- In the underground parking building, follow the green signage to the actual entrance to the ER ('Spoed').
Parking
Parking is not allowed in front of the emergency entrance. Only drop-off and pick-up of patients is permitted. Read more about parking at the Emergency Department.
