Parking rates for patients at the Gasthuisberg campus

UZ Leuven offers a care rate for patients. Patients pay a maximum of € 4.50 per entry and per 24 hours of parking time. Activating the care rate is possible at any point in time, between registration and leaving the parking.

Care rate for patients

As a patient you are entitled to the care rate. This is never more than 4,50 euro a day, on the condition that your car does not leave the parking in the meantime.

Activate at the registration booth, via the mynexuzhealth app or with the front desk staff at the registration desk.

Longer than 24 hours?

You pay € 4.50 per 24 hours (and per entry). You pay every additional hour as indicated in the table.

Ticket lost?

If you lose your parking ticket you pay 25 euro at the ticket machine. If you are entitled to the care rate, first go to the reception of entrance East (Oost) or entrance West; the rate is 4,50 euro.

Weekly subscription

Will you be admitted for more than three days? You or your next of kin will be entitled to the weekly subscription.

  • Rate: 10 euro
  • Arrange the week subscription when you enrol at the registration booth, the mynexuzhealth app or with front desk staff at the registration desk. You’ll need the patient’s electronic ID-card and the parking ticket.
  • Before you leave the parking for the first time with the week subscription, you’ll pay 10 euro at the ticket machine.
  • At the barrier, the ticket reader will return you your parking ticket. Use it the next time to enter and exit the parking.
  • The subscription is valid up until day 7 after first entrance.

Free parking pass

Will you be coming to the Gasthuisberg campus as an outpatient for at least three times a week for 2 months or longer?
This makes you a chronic patient, allowing you to park for free.
