From your next order of blood tubes for NIPT analysis onwards, you will receive the cfDNA tubes with the white cap (Roche Diagnostics). These are plastic tubes, so they can no longer break during the transport or during processing in the laboratory. As opposed to Streck tubes, they can no longer be cooled while awaiting the transport. The other guidelines for blood sampling remain unchanged.
Please indicate on the new request form which type of tube was used for blood sampling. Both Streck as well as cfDNA tubes will be accepted for NIPT analysis.
