Researchers from KU Leuven wish to submit genetic/genomic data to a domain-specific database other than EGA

It is preferable to use EGA ("the European Genome-phenome Archive") as a repository for storing genomic and/or genetic data.

RDR (Research Data Repository) of KU Leuven can also be used as a repository for storing genomic and/or genetic data. More information about RDR can be found here: https://www.kuleuven.be/rdm/en/rdr

If other data repositories than EGA or RDR need to be used, the researcher presents this question to DAC (Data Access Committee) (via email addressed to dac@uzleuven.be), which submits it for decision to the Data Protection Board of UZ Leuven.

DAC aims to make a decision within a reasonable period. Where necessary, DAC submits the file to the Data Protection Board of UZ Leuven (DPB) for advice. The small DPB office meets monthly.
