Watch how UZ Leuven deals with restarting non-urgent consultations and admissions

13 May 2020

ROB-tv reports on how non-urgent admissions and consultations have restarted in UZ Leuven as of 11 May.

Patients that have to be admitted for at least one night or more, are being tested in advance for the coronavirus COVID-19. This happens in a screening street in one of the parking lot of the hospital. Also for patients undergoing certain examinations with a risk for transmission of saliva or that have to be treated in the face or the eyes, it is recommended to have a test. Read more about the screening.

At the main entrance, outpatients coming to their consultation follow different routes. There is a separate flow for patients that have already been registered via the mynexuzhealth app.
