UZ Leuven is a leading center for supraregional top-tier medicine, innovation, education, and clinical research. Our radiology department combines high clinical activity with advanced infrastructure and reporting facilities. We are seeking a full-time staff member specialized in head and neck radiology, with an expected start date in September 2027.

How will you break grounds?

  • You will manage daily clinical activities within the head and neck radiology team and consult with referring physicians regarding examination requests and during multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • You will collaborate closely with colleagues, residents, students, and paramedical staff.
  • You will contribute to scientific studies and projects, aligned with your personal interests and in consultation with your colleagues. If desired, dedicated time can be allocated to initiate or further develop a scientific research track.
  • You will participate in the training of our medical residents, interns, medical students, and radiologic nurses.

What do you need?

  • Recognition as a specialist physician in radiology with proven experience in head and neck radiology.
  • A C1 or C2 level in Dutch, or a C1 or C2 level in French or German with a willingness to learn Dutch quickly.
  • A PhD in medical or biomedical sciences is an asset but not required; if you hold one, it may qualify you for a part-time teaching position at KU Leuven.
