Obstetrics

The obstetrics department is responsible for the follow-up of all matters related to pregnancy and childbirth.

1 accompanying person allowed

One accompanying adult (18+) is allowed in the examination room for an ultrasound and during consultations at the gynaecology and obstetrics department.

The companion can be, for example, the partner or the accompanying midwife, but not both together. Children must stay at home.

Dagziekenhuis 7

Patients come to this day hospital for examinations and minor procedures that require more time than is available during a regular consultation. Monitor checks on pregnant patients are also done here.

Delivery ward

In the delivery ward, childbirth takes place. You will stay in the delivery room from admission until about two hours after the delivery. Scheduled C-sections and emergency C-sections are performed in the operating rooms of the delivery ward.

After delivery, newly delivered mothers and their babies stay in the maternity ward. Read more about the facilities, visiting hours and the course of your stay in the maternity ward.

Hospitalisatie 8

This ward admits women with an increased risk of complications during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Hospitalisatie 33

This ward admits babies who are born prematurely, or who require further follow-up and treatment because of a condition.

Neonatal intensive care unit

Babies who are born prematurely or who require further intensive monitoring and treatment because of a condition are admitted to this ward.
