Directions to the Emergency Department

Are you coming from the motorway or Leuven city centre? Follow the directions to the entrance of the ER. Coming from E314 off-ramp 16 (Gasthuisberg), there is a diversion due to roadworks.

There are roadworks on the campus ring road. You will reach the Emergency Department via a diversion indicated on the campus ring road.

If necessary, choose exit ramp 17 (Winksele) as an alternative route.

Entering the car park

  • Follow the green 'Spoed' (ER) signage all the way to the white building.
  • Enter the white building.
  • In the underground parking building, follow the green signs to the actual entrance to the ER ('Spoed').

Parking

You may not park in front of the emergency entrance, only drop off and pick up patients. Read more about parking at the ER.
